Visa and Brale have announced their partnership.
Visa has announced it will be partnering with leading stablecoin issuer Brale to scale its global stablecoin settlement plans. In particular, Brale will offer its SBC stablecoin issuance infrastructure to take place on the Canton Network, integrating into the privacy features on the platform.
In their investor release, Head of Visa Crypto Cuy Sheffield commented:
“Through our work with Brale, we’re exploring how SBC on the Canton Network can support institutional settlement use cases that require both programmability and privacy controls. This collaboration helps us evaluate what it takes to bring these capabilities into production environments.”
All companies are leading the stablecoin sector in different respects. Brale has been one of the earlier stablecoin issuers that offers white-label services and infrastructure integrations since the early 2020s.
Visa on the other hand is doing a strong effort to partner with different participants of the industry, recognizing the role stablecoins will play in international settings.
Also, the team at Canton has been building for over a decade and are creating a global network for both stablecoins and RWAs (Real-World Assets) for top-tier institutions.
