Tempo has launched a privacy update called Zones.

Tempo has officially announced their latest product development intended to make stablecoin payments for businesses more private. Specifically, this aims to maintain the core onchain payment functions and confidentiality between vendors and clients worldwide.

A premise here is that if you are a business, you won’t necessarily wish to “broadcast” all of your transactions or wallet addresses of your senders and receivers. For this, Tempo has released individual Zones or private channels that are still linked with the mainnet.

The basic demo shows a simple flowchart for a business based in the U.S. that is paying employees and contractors internationally in countries such as Spain, Singapore and Brazil. Tempo raised $500M in 2025 to bring a more enterprise and institutional network to life.
