Circle's USYC stablecoin has reached $3B.
Circle's yield-bearing stablecoin has officially passed $3B in market cap as institutions seek more exposure to tokenized products. Current estimated gross yield stands at 3.52%, with a net yield of 3.17%.
As a yield-bearing offering, the USYC price has also increased by 4.8% from $1.07 to $1.12 since January 3 2026.
At the moment, this product is not available for U.S. companies and is regulated by the BMA (Bermuda Regulatory Authority). Its volume is largely comprised of international investor interest, who have to put in a minimum of $100K to be able to participate.
Underneath the hood is the Hashnote acquisition that Circle completed last year. USYC reserve assets include short-term U.S. Treasuries and repurchase agreements, although USYC itself is not classed as a payment stablecoin under the U.S. Genius Act.
